Another couple of minis

Two new minis have been added to the gallery. A space wolf, made for a mini-exchange with one of my favorite painters; Sebastian Archer (aka: Automaton).

Golden Demon UK '09, and the shop

I entered this years Golden Demon in the UK, and won me a bronze demon, of which I am very proud. It's getting harder and harder over there.

New mini in the gallery. A Space Marine Terminator this time. Not much to say really, I enjoyed painting him, and experimented a bit with different types of freehand - so mostly a mini made for the purpose of training. There will be a normal marine in almost the same color scheme coming up soon.

Okay, back from Cuba again, and working on new stuff.
There is problems with the CD at the moment because Microsoft have made some crazy security updates, and I have had to close the forum a couple of times because of spammers.
Insanely ¤¤"#"!#§ annoying! Anyone know a programmer that can update the security on my forum? I would be very gratefull!
Well I am home now and working full time on getting everything up and running again!

Yes I must be on something illegal, making news so regularily again...
First I have added a new miniature to the 'Cool' gallery: Melisandre Chaos Champion undivided.
Secondly I am now in contact with a great programmor, so Kaple.dk is undergoing some structural changes, which soon should begin to become visible. Have patience, we are getting there...
More to say?...uhm...I have slowly begun to take pictures and plan the next tutorial, which will be about cleaning and looking after your precious brushes. And I am also at the moment finishing a Space Wolf Marine.

Again sorry for the lack of news, no excuses other that I'm hung up on examns and other boring s***. I think I will stop making promisses concerning plans on kaple.dk and just let it roll...so the news:
Again an amazing Golden Demon in France. But for the first time the Sword was not to stay in France but moved to Spain. So congrats to Alfonso (Banshee) for the amazing result!
I took home a Silver Demon for Denmark with Gandalf, and he is posted in the Cool Gallery.
And on the 'ebay front' there is a new auction up. A mini dating back from last years Golden Demon in France: Ka'us, my Death Guard: [Link]

Hi all, sorry for the long idle period. But the ironic thing is that it is not because I haven't been painting, but rather the opposite.

...Yes. First I had a great, but very hard trip to Nürnberg. Much work, but also many exciting people. I especially enjoyed the Andrea Miniatures stand, and Rackham also had some painted miniatures exhibited.
I am currently working on stuff for the French GD. Therefore it will be a long time before I update kaple.dk with new miniatures, and so I have decided to create a WIP-thread covering the painting on one of my entries. You find the thread here: [Link]

I will be going to the Toy Fair in Nurnberg from the 2. February to the 6. February along with Leonhardy the german brush makers, and demonstrate my brushes. We will be in Hall 4 at Stand F17. First, Happy New Year to all!
Some have mailed about the brushes that I developed, and they are on their way.
The thing is that they are handbuilt, and only 2 guys at the fabric where they are being manufactured, are skilled enought to make them. Soon we will have enough, to put them up in the online shop here at this website. I also know for a fact, that at this moment they are on their way out to shops all over the world.
Edit: Now we have got some brushes, but not enough to put them in the shop. But you can order them if you have PayPal. More info here: [Link]

Finally we have opened the shop. We are very sorry for the delay, but we wanted to make sure that everything wass working perfectly, to ensure maximum security when ordering.
The good news is that we have been able to lower the price for the CD a bit to €33 and $38.50. It is still a double CD, of course.
We are currently working on providing PayPal support as well, as a lot of people have requested it. (Update: You can now pay via PayPal)
Besides those important news, I am currently working on a tutorial for the homepage, which covers how to paint dirty and worn clothing on miniatures.
On behalf of myself and my publisher, I would like to apologize for the delay of the Shop.
- Oh, and we ship from day to day, so you can expect to receive the CD's fast after ordering.

The wait is over - almost!

The scheduled date for the shop to open was today, but as you can see, not much has changed in the shop section.
All necessary precautions have been taken to ensure your safety while using the shop. We are currently waiting for verification from our payment provider, that our shop is 100% secure for our customers. As soon as we get the word, the shop will be open for business.
We expect this to happen this Tuesday or Wednesday, so you wont have to wait much longer.
Update Wednesday: Sadly it will be a few days before the shop will be open for business. We are doing everything in our power to speed up the process.

The CD has entered the final stage: printing! Because of the quality of the videos and the sheer amount of pictures and data (not to mention 5 languages), the final product ended up being a double CD. This luckily hasn't raised the price.
The Poster and the Cover for the CD have also been updated, you can view them in the MPCD and the Shop sections.
A new mini has also been added to the gallery, Rutger Shaw from Privateer Press.

Finally the new look is finished, and as promised I have some exciting stuff to show. Of course the galleries of my Golden Demon entries are partially up, and some galleries now have ultra high resolution images for you to enjoy - you can find these by looking for the macro flower icon.
More importantly, it is time to reveal what I have been working on since December 2004: Miniature Painting CD.
I am very excited about announcing this, so hurry up and go to the MPCD section, where you can download a demo, and see what it's all about!
